Assistant Branch Manager


Penco Corporation, a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC and plumbing supplies in its 70th year, is seeking a qualified Assistant Branch Manager for its fast-growing Rehoboth Beach, Delaware location. Responsibilities: Service customers at the counter by taking orders and entering them accurately Increase sales and order size by cross-selling, add on sales and offering sales items, or new products Assist in managing store operations to maximize sales, profits and customer service Use teamwork to resolve inventory, sales, shipping and receiving questions Provide consistent direction to employees on a daily basis Review inventory space requirements and make recommendations to maintain inbound & outbound efficiency Inventory accuracy should be understood and maintained Build, coach, train and engage personnel to deliver superior levels of customer service and business results Demonstrate strong management abilities to drive results and motivate team Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required Propose personnel and equipment needs Attend product training meetings Maintain knowledge of company products, policies and procedures, requirements, etc. Qualifications: Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds Skill and ability to perform mathematical computations required in the completion of job responsibilities Ability to operate a lift truck Ability to walk 1-1 ½ miles on a daily basis Strong verbal and written communication skills Benefits: Competitive Salary Medical Dental Vision Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Flex) Seven Paid Holidays 401(K) with employer matching 100% Employer Paid Life Insurance Policy Short Term Disability and more!
